I have always found that I am most creative when I am given some type of assignment. The rules and parameters inspire me — not only to be productive, but to push the boundaries.
I also know that the academic in me misses my professors and their syllabi! And I suppose the athlete in me still craves some good ole competition … even if it is just with myself! 🙂
